How much does a smart home automation system cost in New York?

It depends on the size of the property, the systems you want to control, and how much automation you need. A single room of lighting control is a very different project from a whole-property system, so we scope and price after reviewing the space and what you want it to do.

In most cases, yes. Wireless lighting control, battery and retrofit motorized shades and wireless audio let us automate finished apartments and townhouses with minimal disruption. We will tell you up front where wiring would give a better long-term result.

A single-room project can often be installed and programmed in a day or two. Whole-property systems and new construction follow the construction schedule, and we plan our work around the other trades.

Different brands solve different problems. Lutron and Ketra lead on lighting and shades, Savant and Control4 bring many systems into one platform, and Crestron suits larger homes and commercial environments. We recommend based on what the project actually requires.
