It will not only adjust for sunrise and sunset (which it does automatically year-round) but for all lighting issues over the course of the day. That annoying glare on your television from the sun that only lasts a few hours a day can easily be taken care of by setting the system.
It will help you lower your shades for those few hours. The system also turns off standby power to small appliances when they are not in use. You can control just about anything in your home with RadioRA 2; your lights, motorized window treatments, heating, air conditioning, and security system.

This means that you can reduce the heat from the afternoon sun by closing blinds where necessary. In addition, RadioRA2 can also use sensors that turn off lights in a room that is not in use.
RadioRA 2 can also connect to your air conditioning/heating and security system for total control of your home. Most systems do not offer many color options for your wall plates and keypads.
With Lutron, your system components are available in several colors in a gloss or matte finish. The keypads can also be custom-engraved to suit your installation. In other words, you have a professional appearance throughout your entire home.
Lutron RadioRA 2 provides control from universal remotes, home automation systems, and mobile devices, such as your iPhone, iPad, and Android device—all from a single controller. The Lutron integration protocol allows virtually any device capable of sending commands to control lights and shades. Two-way functionality provides the ability to monitor lighting status in the home, including light levels, and access database-level system information.
